Tesla Solar Roof can be installed on most roofs; however, some roofs are not eligible and a roof inspection will determine the eligibility of your roof. If your roof does not pass and it requires work, we will let you know at the end of the inspection and we can additionally talk about roof options as Phoenix Exteriors is also a roofing contractor. Please also note: roofing repairs/replacements, replacement or addition of gutters, skylights, or vents are not included in the cost of Tesla Solar Roof.

When it comes to how long it will take to install the Tesla Solar Roof, the first thing you should know is that we will always let you know and coordinate with you to determine access to the home. The installation crew typically needs five to seven business days to complete the installation for smaller, less steep roofs and 14-28 days for much larger and steeper roofs. Additionally, times do vary as well; however, we will always schedule with you so you are never surprised. When installation does begin, we do require that someone 18 years or older be home for at least the first two hours to allow access and additional site access might be required as the installation progress continues. We will always let you know and coordinate with you to determine access to the home and overall how long it will take to install a Tesla Solar Roof.
